How did CitiLife Development get started?

CitiLife Development  started from frustration and irritation! LOL!

The idea that stellar service, business growth strategies, and career development resources shouldn't be reserved for certain exits off of the Capital Beltway, large corporations, or wealthy people bothered us enough to take action and provide the things that we wanted for other people who wanted the same things.

Though formalized in 2018, our founders have over 60 years of collective experience in hotel sales and revenue maximization, restaurant operations, global branding and marketing, and business startup formation, growth, and scaling.

Our accolades are greater. Our impact [THANKFULLY!] is even greater.

What kind of impact has CitiLife Development made?

In partnership with DC's Department of Employment Services, we've trained over 100 District residents, with over 90% earning their Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP) designation. Over 70% of our program graduates began work with hotels including Watergate, Riggs Hotel, Gaylord National Harbor; venues including DC's convention center, the Anthem; transportation companies including Elevate, Uber; eateries and catering firms including Cafe Riggs, Starbucks, Black Betty BBQ; experience marketing and events including Capital BBQ Battle, Samsung Business Innovation Sessions, MPIRE Interactive x Monumental Sports and Entertainment.

8% of our graduates have not only started their own businesses but have been recognized grant awardees! Projects include Women's Foundation Rock Star Fund to launch a nonprofit and SHE:DC 2024 featured artist.

We're thrilled to watch our esteemed grads  flourish far beyond the generalized perception that people don't want to work.
